You can probably find a brand new z07 for that price if you look. I found brand new z06s for $65k. It would ride nicer, be faster, has a/c, nice stereo, etc.

People are saying add these things to the 1LE and you would come up witht he same price. I think those people need to stop adding and consider replacing. You don't add a ls7, you replace a ls3 with a ls7, you don't add ceramic brakes, you replace the 1le brembos ect ect. Then you take away carpets, insulation, back seats, belts, radios and AC, replace the already absurdly priced 1le wheels and tires, replace coilovers and rear end and don't forget to tac on flares/spliters/spoilers/40k.

He said it was ONE of the reasons you can't compare 1967 prices to 2014 prices.

I knew it! I have been saying it would be almost $80k for months and everyone wanted to argue.
Ouch.

I was saying 85k... this totally makes sense though, when you look at the entire Camaro lineup.

I would be willing to bet some of my local dealers if they get one, will be looking to get around 100K-110K for the Z/28. hell, my one local dealer wanted 1500-3000 over for the first SS models.
For the performance the car offers, the MSRP is fair IMO. I wouldnt spend that much on a Camaro but thats just me |

9.25 % sales tax then property tax yearly. Nice.Plus the dealers here will mark it up at least $15k like they did the ZL1s. Hello $110k. Ah the good old days. I believe sticker on my 97 Z28 was 28...

i woke up ..reality check and i stopped dreaming..
i'm happy, for the persons who can afford it.pretty shure they will be even rarer on the streets.. anyway, we have to applaud gm for making /offering a car like this. if i would have the $$$=z/28 before a vette for me. |

I'd like to think the engineers could have coaxed another 80 hp out of the LS3 without resorting to the LS7. I guess they have a few laying around. First they tried unloading them in the 427 vette and now the Camaro. It's cool for the wow factor but it still seems like there would have been a more affordable powertrain alternative.
