Amazing how this is continuing to grow and get more, and more exposure. There will come a point if it hasn't already where the dealer will be so far into the negative of public perception that there will be no going back. They seem to be more concerned on defending their position than doing the right thing. They really can't be trying to hard as a quick google search can find a bunch of low mileage ZL's that can be had for a reasonable amount when you take the insurance payout into consideration. They're going to be so far in the hole that there will be no recovering from this as far as damage to their customer base.

There seems to be a ton of low mileage ones out there right around the insurance payout so why is the dealership being so difficult? They could be heroes and replace the car. Talk about a missed opportunity.

That said, I cannot believe what a joke that dealership is!! That place makes millions and with or without insurance, the dealer and chevy should be addressing this immediately! Obviously the dealer has no clue about PR but i'm sure Chevy has entire departments dedicated as a resource for situations like this! I mean, there are promos going on everywhere even at the Corvette museum giving these cars away! This poor guy sold his 69 camaro along with his previous one just to buy a ZL1!

one simple word of advice: Mr. Dealership, now that you've owned up to the problem (short paragraph on homepage of their website) use this Negative PR as an awesome opportunity to do the 'RIGHT' thing, fix the problems, and turn it into something positive!

There is still time to make this a 'win-win'.. guess we will see..

lol this dealership will be declaring bankruptcy soon after all the negative press they will receive. good luck selling cars with this news.
