The Hi-Ram? People have been cutting the runners to whatever length they need... But how without affecting airflow because I thought the runners were tapered?

Both Hi and Mid affect wiper clearance and require cowl notching...

Wipers linkage for passenger side can be cut to enable only drivers side

Or just remove the entire wiper assembly and washer system since you won't have wipers. (Thats for the I don't drive fast cars in the rain crowd) A razor scrape and Rain-X treatment should be a must every spring if you go this route.

No the mid-ram. I spoke with a machine shop that does a lot of high end machine work, and they figured everything out. With the intake being a 3 piece design and castings being generous at the mounting pads they figured out a way to shave almost an inch out of the height that will not change the airflow much.

We are even going to play with notching the top plate of the intake where it hits the cowl and welding in plate so that the cowl doesn't have to be cut at all.

But the big question still will be if I can fit it under the stock hood with the support cut out.

Oh id like at least the driver side to work. Screw the passenger as shes always sleeping over on that side anyways. Lol

I like the look of the new intake but it will not fit under the stock hood. If you go on youtube and look up that intake they will say it won't. There is a black Camaro by 510 race engineering (you can also find that car on youtube) they say that they had to get a different hood with a bigger cowl.

Its too bad Holley doesn't build a mid intake specific for the 5th Camaro because they would sell a sh!* ton of them. Thought that was the case when I saw the SEMA pic

Looks good man. Can't wait to see the numbers you put down. Also do you have plans to build a wall or box for that filter?

Nah... This was a temp setup for test drive to ensure I installed manifold correctly. Tore front drive down already to start blower install then I will just sell the rotofab for anyone who will do hi/mid ram and needs an intake....

Will have to modify the ECS throttle tube.... Clearance is tight between relocated radiator and forward neck of the mid-ram
