LOL. When I'm ready to buy I'll check EVERYWHERE. Good thing is I'm not afraid to fly in and drive home if need be. I'd rather buy in Virginia to simplify everything but it's not necessary. Lindsay Chevy would have to offer me a KILLER deal to buy from them, but hey, if they did and it worked out then it's all good. Most dealers I found out that it's mainly the Sales manager top guy that sets the goal for that dealer. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I've seen dealers go from great to crappy or vice versa just by whomever takes over.

Prime example is Lustine Dodge in woodbridge Va. They were cool, then some doofus came in and wouldn't budge on pricing. He made it one of those "No haggle" dealers. He left, and now it's back to normal. You can get a real deal there if youre serious about buying at that time.

IMO, No haggle means no deal.

I can't stand it when people tell me that the dealer is "detailing their car" to me detailing a car consists of 6+ hours of claying, polishing and waxing and does not come free from a dealer who claims to detail your car in 20 minutes. Crappy hand wash and dry with dirty towels + vacuum =/= detail. It equals marring and hours of paint correction.

When I used to go into the dealer for stuff I would have to insist they not "wash" my car. They would look at me puzzled most of the time at this request and I would have to adamantly request again they not touch my car finish.
