OP, I didn't observe better mileage after my muffler delete. It basically stayed the same. Maybe in my case it was offset by more frequent revs!

I have a muffler delete on my 2010 camaro SS and I wanted to know if I cut out the two cats on each side and weld .065 tube there would I need to tune? And how would it affect my car? Good or bad?

It was bad enough for me, I had AFM tuned out.
They will if they do it right. Get the Solo Axle Back J-Pipes and
the AFM will not be a problem. Have had them 5 years now on my
L99. No drone at any rpm.

The trouble with these anecdotal findings is that they are not tests. Nothing was controlled. Nothing was documented. There's no science behind it.

I stopped by a local performance mechanics shop today to talk about the muf delete and he suggested I just take the resonators off... said the drone would be bad if I did a delete on the true muffler.

Did I explain something wrong or am I missing something here. I am new to all of this.
