INSTALLED MY FLOWMASTER AMERICAN THUNDER KIT AND I TELL U, IT SOUNDS SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET ON THE V6 RS~~~~~!!!!!

Help with horrible drone
Guys, i have horrible drone between 1800 and 2100 on my 2015 camaro v6... I replaced stocks mufflers with flowmaster series 44 delta.. Stock resonators are in place... No other change.. Need help on fix

Buy a SS that will fix it lol. Just kidding, I honestly have never heard an aftermarket V6 on any car that I liked. From a SS owner POV I would say remove the resonators and install an h or X pipe crossover. Possibly change your headers as well.

I did Magnaflow cat back with resonated x-pipe and it was fine. No drone and nice sound under acceleration.

On my 2010 v6 auto I had shorty headers amd mrt v2 mufflers and left i. The stock resonators. To kill most drone I had to add the magnaflow resonated x pipe and all good. Was best sounding setup I have neard on a v6. Deep throaty sound to 3500 rpm and deep scream above that.

Oh and dronemasters worst muffler you can nave for drone

I had the same problem when I had my V6, Get the Magnaflow resonated
X-pipe muffler and have it put in where the h piece is at, towards the front
of the exhaust. Drone eliminated.I bought mine on amazon.

+1 on the resonated X pipe recommendation. These seem to be the favorite of the V6 crowd with custom exhaust.

muffler delete and resonator delete then add an x pipe I will sound deep and aggressive. I have this set up and I love it.by the way cheaper that a full cat back exhaust
