So sorry to hear this. I was so hoping that things would get resolved. I guess we will just have to continue to wait.... ![]()

I keep telling you guys there's another option. I say this because I already dealt with the issues that arise when using an aftermarket adapter (Metra, Scosche, Alpine). If you're ok with having some issues come up, then by all means.

CreeperRS, I really appreciate you trying to help. In my case, I am wanting the change to gain Nav among other things, not primarily sound. I agree that the factory sound would be a good start with using something like you suggest or a good active sub. Just not the right fit for what I want. Thanks... ![]()

No, problem. Both Metra and Scosche have their issues, just a matter of preference. If I were to use one, it would be the Scosche, or Alpine if I could find one. I never tried the Metra.

I put in the metra kit. Every thing worked fine for a month!! The display went out and I had no climate functions. I could get a replacement but I feel I just don't wanna deal with the headache again later. Probably going back to oem. Safer and cheaper

Well its about a month since the last post here. Anyone have any updates or success stories lately? Especially for the 2014 and 2015 models?

My Metra kit has been working fine for more than a year.

I think I have found an alternative to Scosche and Metra. Just bit the bullet to have the sound shop order one for me. Looks promising and retains the factory controls so it looks like a factory install.
See below.... company is Pac-Audio Product Description
Everything you need, including Steering Wheel Controls
