I think it would depend on how well the Z28 handles.......

Even at that I see them as 2 different beasts but It could steal a few sales

Only as few as the SS has...you have a few guys who will come over..you have a few like me..who will keep the Vette and get a Camaro..but mass numbers..nope...you are a member over there. Have you read how the majority feel about the Camaro's styling etc?

Hm...I find it split 50/50, based on what I've read from two forums. And on one, the general consensus is "I like it, but I like my Vette more". I just wonder if a Z/28 as proposed wouldn't turn a few more. I don't expect Vette sales to tank in half or anything crazy...but I just wonder if there won't be a detectable 'hiccup' in sales when the Z/28 comes out.

I dont think so..because you have to remember...when is the Z/28 scheduled? And what is happening in the vette world close to that time and then usually about 1-1.5 years after the new ZO6 will show up

True...I hadn't thought about that. I guess I just don't care about the Darkside enough anymore to have thought about it.

Yup.

If it did GM would find that out during testing then they would either detune the Z/28 and or limit the production on it. We all know nothing can come close, meet or beat the Corvette from GM, but it has happen too in the past
