I like the SS, but the V6 looks finished and the SS does not. I'm hoping for a change and if not, it really is no big deal. I'll just change it.

Wait a min... is that lower a grill a 'nod' to the old school Camaro. Look at the lower grill with the grill of the 69 Camaro. Very similar... I'm guessing the grill was on purpose now...

I'm starting to see what they were thinking if this is true...

Great! Next thing you know they'll put a "nod" to the 1986 Berlinetta in there and stick amber turn signals on it and mount the radio on a rotating "pod" stiking up from the center console! That would match the rest of the car just as well as this grille! And since it's paying homage to an older generation Camaro, EVERYONE will LOVE it!

I have a question on the interior shots on this thread. Is there going to be ambient lighting like that on the production camaro? if so , really sweet.

There's too many horizontal bars placed too close together so the openings in the grille clash with the thicker bars and openings of the upper grille. The grille also protrudes out from the hole in the bumper and isn't recessed, so it looks like it's just stuck on the front of the car instead of an integral part of the car.

When I first saw it I felt this way and it's not changed one bit.

But I'm hopeful this is just a bogus test mule part like the headlights and taillights.

You lose some definition from the car being black. Look at the silver SS which gives you a better idea on what it looks like. I think the lower bumper looks fantastic on the SS!

Yea I like the SS facia and lower grill alot... the grill looks very utilitarian, like THIS is the car you're supposed to take seriously. To me the SS says "Yea, the V6? That's my little brother... he's the pretty boy. As for me, I'll kick your ass pony boy."

Do we know for sure the grill is specific to the V8? Is it possible the grill you are seeing on the V6 is the RS grill and thus would be on the SS/RS?

Does not appear to be the case, there is an SS specific grill per Chevy, but no one has officially seen the production version YET.

The V6 car will always get the grill in the red car. The question is have we seen the SS grill yet? I think the grill in the black SS is actually borrowed from the V6 car and the SS will get something which matches the style of the SS lower grill. Maybe this one?

Notice the Bowtie relief in the center of the grill?

The bumper does look fantastic, I think most would agree. What doesn't look so fantastic is the lower grill. Its obvious that the black one is a lot more clearer to see, and thats the only reason we can see the details of the lower grill, which I do not like so much.

In the silver one, you really cant see anything, even the upper grill loses its detail in that picture (Because its in low resolution). The overall design is fine, but that lower grill needs a change.
