Looks like your havin problems hookin up with that 60' time compared to your trap 123mph.. I'm guessing mid 11's with those numbers.. Very nice. What gears your running?

Thanks....depends on weather, track, elevation, humidity, beer.....lotsa variables

stock A4 stock gears...stock everything but blower and tires...even stock 17 inch rims.
I can't spend any money on rims till I get at least boost and fuel pres. gauges.

it does launch pretty well.....gotta roll into the pedal...drop tire pressure...it's practically voodo

Here's a 12.2 1.8

You can't get enough rubber in these wheel wells to support much more than this.
and IF I could get more rubber...something would most likely break (axle stubs trans etc)

P.S> nice 10 run Bob!

For referrence, this is what a 1900 (the same size as the CTS-V) will do on a G8. It's a long read, but it made around 460 RWHP with a Borla catback and OEM airbox I think, in order to get a CARB exemption. I'm sure we'll be seeing CTS-Vs putting dow similar numbers, if not a little higher, and this was on a OEM L76 longblock with AFM, not an LS3...

Yeah, that's a good thread. I don't remember how many PSI it was pushing, but I know it wasn't the 9-10.5 lbs. the 1900 and 2300 are pushing in the LSA and LS9. Just think that if GM stuffed some better rods and crank in the bottom end that it would easily be making those power levels. Grr. I guess since Magnuson has a CARB number I'm not so worried about a supercharged OEM Camaro, however, I'd still prefer all the engineering that went into it, AND the warranty. Anyhoo, this looks to be a nice alternative if those of us who are looking for what I posted and don't get it.

Pulley-up!!!

just makes 'em more rare....which I'm enjoying in my GTO world.
I pull into the BMW dealership and get asked to pop the hood.....
It's kinda cool....they hear it and know it's rare.

(of course I can't help blippin')

Soon as warranty is up, STS Twins for my vert, or if a Z comes out, I might just buy that instead.

I just want a loaded LS3 manual SS/RS with all the options, but not a convertable. Maybe is a couple years I will put on a GM supercharger. This will be my daily driver, so snows will go on for 3-4 months here in Northern IL. I only work 14 days a month and drive 2 miles to work.

I'm waiting. I was ready to go for the Z28...had talks with my dealer buddies and everything. I'm not one of the "I'll just hop up my SS to the same horsepower as the Z28" kind of guys... Yep, easy to do..but at the end of the day it's just another hopped up Camaro....not special.

My beater Jeep could have held out until early '09, but the delay of the Z sealed the deal. I considered a HHR-SS, but ended up with a new Mazdaspeed3 in the interim. Decent car, but am I happy? No. Would I every buy a v6 RS for about the same money...uh no, that would be like having a berlinetta compared to an Iroc. Am I going to spend money on a SS only to trade it in on a Z28?...not the smart money either. I'm only doing this once.

I am thinking along similar lines with you. I've spent way mor emoney on my '02 than I probably should have. Honestly, I didn't think I'd like a new Camaro when it eventually came out as much, so I never really thought I'd be thinking about selling it, so I justified the money I put into it that way. This time though, I am so happy with what we've been shown so far that I can confidently say that I think it is possible we've reached the zenith of Camaro. With gas prices where they are, and how much more oil is in demand world-wide, I really don't think a next generation is going to have the kind of power we will be getting. I'm all about speed and acceleration, personally, with handling in a close second. I'm getting to appreciate handling more and this car looks to fit all these great. However, I'd rather spend $10-$15K on the front end of a car with a blower, and that is engineered around that power, rather than add that money onto a car that's not really built for that. In addition, (I know I've posted this before) I have smog nazis where I live and anything I can do to stay on the down-low will be beneficial. I don't race on the street, but when I get pulled over, that's what the man thinks. I need to stick with a pulley, and simple intake and exhaust tuning for power since these are really the only safe places I can go to not get in trouble. An LSA, or similar variant, will fit that bill exactly. You can't tell me that that motor won't be able to put out ZR1 power for a couple grand and still be reliable.

I'm sorry for making this so long, but it's not about being lazy or anything, it's about a whole package, and staying out of trouble

That's kinda why I put up the homemade turbo video...he's already lunched a couple of connecting rods....but it was cheap.
