Update: Arrived at the dealership early yesterday, (8:15) and the service rep told me they couldn't find the paperwork, BUT they would get right on it anyway. Took just a couple of hours and the spoiler and badging looks great. It's been a long wait, but all's well that end's well.

Chevy Customer Support gave me a follow up call yesterday to see how the spoiler/badging installation went. I told them I was very pleased and the rep offered to compensate err, give me something due to the 7 week wait. As I've stated in the W.O.S. thread, the dealer sent premium floor mats to me after 3 weeks of waiting. I feel as though I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth if I ask for something else, but THEY asked. Any ideas? Thanks

Ask the rep. what he/she had in mind? See what they say.....

A few free oil changes would be nice........

It's nice to have an advocate here on the forum, I hope I never need his help.

No offense, Jeff!

Here is the latest and hopefully the last update...

Although it's been a couple of weeks, (we've been playing a lot of phone tag...(sorry I'm/their busy), GM Support called today and offered me a 12mo/12,000 mi. service warranty. I asked what that was and from what I could tell, it's free oil changes/tire rotation for 1 yr/12,000 mi. That would boil down to free oil changes, huh... Can't rotate the tires on the Silver Surfer...darn. I am quite pleased given I had to wait 7 weeks for my spoler and ended up getting premium floor mats and a few oil changes.

I'm close to my first oil change (might be on another thread, but I have 2900 on the car now and we've a 500 mi trip planned....). Perhaps a good time to take advantage of the offer before long,:party0048: as it's been hotter..than a couple of long haired rats doin the boogie in a wool sock here in Ok.
