The story of my upgrade

Hello there. First of all, im sorry for my mistakes in English. Im from europe and english not my primary language

Just want to tell my story, maybe someone will do some comments of my deal. Ive bought black 1LT auto with 19 rims, sunroof and conect.package a year ago. It was new and it was the first camaro in our country (Belarus). I was even on TV with it! Heh. Payed 28k in US and total 35.5 in my country. It was an awsome ride, powerfull and VERY eyecatching. Got 1 accident not my fault and had to replace a passenger door. After a year of enjoyment of the car it has 8k miles and i still loved it.

But, a month ago i had to sell it. It was a very hard desicion, but i had no choice. The situation was like this:

- if my car was imported to Belarus before 2010, i had a possibility to sell it to Russia WITHOUT paying any custom taxes! For example, cos of Russian custom, new 1lt there is cost close to 60k! Used ones was smth like 45-50.
Btw SS in russia is close to 100k...

So i sold it to a guy from Russia 40к. It was hard, but DAMN...! Bought a new car for 35.5 and sold it for 40 after year of driving it. I think, any of u would do the same on my place.

Well, the story is not ended. 2 weeks ago ive bought black 2ss ls3 with 2400m only! Got her for 30.5к in US (do u think i got a good deal?) and here, in Belarus, it will cost me 40k! Those 40k, which ive got for my 1lt.

The car is about to ship off from NY and u have no idea, how am i excited about getting this 426hp monster. And scared of it ofc, cos i had 312 on auto, and new one will be 426 on stick.

That was my story, hope it will end great and il get my new babe in a month!

Thanks for reading

Here is my previous, and the new one.

Do not feel bad about paying a high price for a car you love. Here in Canada, and I am only a 4-1/2 drive from the factory, I had to pay about $4000 more (USD) for my 2011 2LT than the same car bought in the USA. I bought at below MSRP in Canada but GM Canada has a higher MSRP then the states, plus almost $1000 additional in shipping charge than those buying in the USA.
As a US citizen living in Canada I remain very pissed off at GM Canada pricing. Not dealers fault as GM Canada sets prices in Canada. Canada dealers are not happy with GM Canada Camaro price.
I understand your frustration regarding pricing. Hope you are able to drive a car that you enjoy. Camaro's are made in Canada, but you do not see many Camaro's in Canada because GM Canada has a much higher MSRP then the MSRP offered by GM USA. Add on an outragous transport charge for Canadian buyers, buying a made in Canada, home of the Camaro, is a luxury.

As i said, in a Russia, for example, for the base LS, which is 24k in US, ul have to pay 58k and for the 2ss ul have to pay 90-100к. And after all - u wont have any warranty! In Belarus i went to our chevy dealer and asked, if my new Camaro will have a warranty and they said NO, only european chevrolet!

So to pay +4000 of msrp in US is not so bad in Canada, as it is in Europe

Congratulations! We've shipped some of our stuff over to Europe to Camaro owners there. Doesn't sound like much is available for aftermarket stuff there.
