No, my car was not in storage. I normally alternate the cars that I drive, 2 or 3 days the Magnum, and then 1 day the Camaro. If I need to have a pick me up for feeling a little down I will drive my Camaro. Since getting the "Check Engine" light Friday evening, I filled up the gas tank and slowly drove home and put her back in the garage. She has not moved since and I am waiting to call the Dealership on Monday and talk with my Service Advisor and let him know what is going on. From what he tells me I will either drive the car to the dealership or have them sent a flatbed tow truck. Thank You All, for the words of wisdom.

Well here is the latest on my 2LT/RS. After I got off of work (early) for a doctors appointment I headed back home and switched cars. I had called the Service Advisor at the dealership first thing this morning to let him know what was going on. I made it to the dealership at about 3 PM, the entire way the "Check Engine" light was on. At the dealership I stopped my car in the service drive and turned her off. Service advisor came out started my car up and guess what? The darn "Check Engine" light turned off. I gave him the codes that I had gotten from OnStar and also another number that I had been given by William R. The car will be checked tomorrow and any codes in the computer will be investigated. So right now it is a waiting game to see if it is just a gremlin having fun or a actual problem.

UPDATE
Well the "Check Engine" codes check out and my Camaro has been sent over to the dealerships transmission bay to be checkout/worked on. The bad part here is that there are 3 or 4 cars before mine. Should have another update tomorrow morning.

Well I got a call late this afternoon on the status of my Camaro. The "Power Control Module" in my transmission is bad and needs to be replaced. provided the new one comes in I should have my car back tomorrow afternoon.

Final Update. I have my car back. This is from my "Invoice"

Customer states check engine light is on.
Cause: Stuck module
K6562 Control solenoid valve and transmission
control module assembly replacement.

27082 Vehicle found with code P2715 set and solenoid test
performed ans solenoid no .4 stuck TCM Module with solenoid was
replaced and new internal filter installed, TCM programmed and vehicle
re-tested for 10 miles.

I had them go ahead and replace the Transmission Filter since they had to open it up to do the work, at least it made sence to me. My car was nice and clean when it was driven out for me. Also the Service Advisor kept me informed each day as to what was happening/going on with my car. The car was in for work Tuesday, Wedesday, and Thursday. I was called today prior to 12 PM, letting me know that the repairs were complete and my car was ready. I just had to wait for my work day as a Teacher to be over, so I could reclaim my car. After I got my keys, I went for a short drive to check out how my car ran. Just like New.

Well here is a update on my car. This Friday (5-3-2013) I drove to Alpine/San Diego for a doctors appointment, run errands, and visit family and I decided this would be a good way to check out my Camaro after having the work done on her transmission. Well to put it simply she preformed GREAT for the entire trip, both going to San Diego and coming back home to the Imperial Valley. In fact on the return trip there was another Camaro and we kept up with each other for most od the drive. One last bit of news, today is my Camaro's Birthday, she was built on May 5th, 2009.

Back in April of 2013 I had gotten a Check Engine light with Code P2715 and P0700. Well today right after leaving work and heading to the Mall to finish up the Christmas shopping, my Camaro shudders and the Check Engine light comes on. I called OnStar and asked them to run a check on my Camaro and I got the same Codes again, yep P2715 and P0700. So instead of going to the Mall, I headed to the Dealership and they now have my car to figure out what is up. Again this is the SECOND TIME that these two codes have come up. The first time they replaced the Transmission Control Module, and it appears that I have the same issue again.

Well I just got the update on my Camaro's status. The SAME EXACT problem as 17 months or roughly 9,000 miles ago. The TCM is bad again, with the same EXACT solenoid stuck, number 4. New part ordered and the Service Advisor is calling GM Engineers on this problem. I do not want them to fix this problem again, only to have the problem come back again at a later date. I what the problem FIXED and FIXED for good. Otherwise I will be rethinking my decision to keep the car as I had planned. I only have 3 more payments left to go. So William at GM Customer Care, if you are reading this, I may be opening up a case on this issue. One other thing, the dealership has been outstanding in what they have been doing, no problem there.

Well I picked up my car today from the dealership. Here is what was written on the invoice "Verified customer concern. Found DTC P2715 pressure control solenoid calce 4 stuck. Removed, replaced, and reprogrammed TCM with valve pack, test drove vehicle and no code nor problem came back at this time". The same exact part was replaced. I also had them do an oil and filter change, plus draining of the catch can. They also called GM Engineers who stated that they are not aware of any problems with the automatic transmissions on V-6 Camaros. I will be driving up to the Temecula area tomorrow morning for Christmas and test my Baby out.
