Sounds like he got the Mail order tune special. They are all the same symptom wise. Lucky enough you guys caught it.

No it was tuned by someone locally here. I could tell who tune it by the signature of the calibration.

I get a lot of guys call me that tell me " the car runs real strong, but I just want the tuned checked" . Then I asked them who tuned it, and I tell them either I've never heard of that tuner (which isn't necessarily a bad thing), or if I know the tuner I tell them what Im going to find before I plug in.
