Thanks very much for clarifying! Because the illustration only showed one instead of all 4 is why I asked. I wonder if he ever had anymore leakage?

YES I did! It really sucked to go through all that and still have a leak. But one thing I read though people say that it leaks through the factory plug or something like that on the cooler.

Have you noticed an increase in oil temperature when driving hard without the oil cooler ?

Well I actually replaced mine with the mishimoto oil cooler. It seems like the oil cooler dropped my water temp a little though by not using the radiator to cool the oil and my oil temp now doesn't go over 217* unless I'm getting on it for a while.

I read that many people delete the oil cooler and install plugs. Will the oil overheat in this case? I mean with the standart radiator

I don't think that it will raise your temp too much as long as your just dd, but any more then that I wouldn't really know.

I ended up deleting my oil cooler last year using the Improved Racing Kit. I haven't seen any new oil drops on the garage floor. I don't have a manual oil temp gauge but my coolant temps haven't changed.
The only thing I am a bit more mindful of now is I will let the car warm up a little longer in the driveway before heading out. |
