Hi Becky,
Well, I originally said I wouldn't bother you until next week to check on the status of my order. To my surprise you magically gave me my VIN # this morning. So, I'm glad i didn't wait.
Now that it is built and bayed, how do you think it will be shipped to Rochester, New York. It seems like such a short distance from Oshawa to Rochester for a train ride. Do you think it will be on car carrier (truck), and if so how can I track it?

Basically, it is an estimate, provided by GM, on which week they think your car will be built.

I think they all go by rail, but I'm not 100% sure.
You could try your dealer or call GM Customer Service
800-222-1020 and see if they can help.

First you need the railcar #. You can get that from your
dealer. They can get it from GM Global Connect website
we use - under Order Workbench. From there, they go
to the manage inventory tab and either do an order inquiry
or check the intransit tab for Camaro. Click on the order #
and the order comes up. Scroll down and the event history
is there and the railcar is listed. Once you have that #

call 877-744-7279
Prompt #5
Prompt #3
ask for location
give the car initials
give the car #
say done and listen.
The automated system will tell
you where the railcar is at or
where it just left. The goal is
to get an "empty" status
