Yeah, the closer you are to the water, the scarier it gets. Saw a person flip a 24' HTM at Lake Of The Ozarks a few years back at 120 mph. He was knocked out but only had minor scratches. Lucky guy.

Yep that guy was very lucky, that HTM was rolling a few feet behind him as he was skipping across the water I have gotten wet once,We hooked a sponson in a STV with a 2.5 drag not fun lol.

Wow, you saw that too ? It was crazy. We were almost in front of where it happened. Talked to the guy later.

As far as a STV. Yes they are pretty crazy. Had a friend with the SVT 18 with a 2.4. It topped out at 107 with 2 of us in it, but you felt like you were sitting ON the water. Hooking a sponson like you did would be a zero on the fun meter.

Me, too!!

We just got through a wind storm...I actually sat on the pier for a while to watch the water turn brown from the waves churning up the bottom...

That picture alone is a refreshing reminder of what water is supposed to look like!
