This. Interjecting in every thread about how V6's shouldn't even be made and what junk they are is just... I don't even have words for it, other than to think maybe he just has no life and it makes him feel better or bigger to dog on others? I honestly don't know, but I've seen his vitriol in multiple threads.

Keep in mind if it wasn't for the V6, Camaro wouldn't be successful, or even in production, as they outsell the SS by like 3 to 1... See here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...del+popularity

Let's not turn this into another war. To each their own.. a Camaro is a Camaro!

Oh for sure. You'll get pulled over in WI just for having IL plates. Haha. Used to live in the Chi right off of Division and Dearborn.

Yeah that is right downtown. I only drive mines at night after work and on the weekends other than that she stays in the garage due to my job paying for the CTA pass. I still have to meet up with the C5G club and go for meetup i just got it so i am still at 3,700 miles it's allot for a little over a month two trips to michigan and allot city driving has been fun though..

QUOTE=nmulvey;5623598]Just kidding. I'd do the same thing if it was a discussion about how many bags of groceries will fit in a Camaro's trunk.
I bought my LS because its a DD and I was looking for an awesome car that got good milage. This guy SSBlack just told another member how smart he was for trading in his Camaro because he was having money problems and what a stnad up thing it was for him to do that. He even said most people aren't that smart when it comes to finances over cars. Yet here he has the ballz to blast v6 owners who bought the car to save some money on gas. Real classy guy. Get a life tough guy.
I told that OP to do what he needed to do and ignore what other people think. Period.

Where did you get the rest of that? Don't put words in my mouth, "tough guy".

And where did I say ANYTHING negative about V6's? YOU are the reason threads like this get locked.

Comments like "Welcome to Prius5" and references to those with v6s being concerned about how many grocery bags will fit in the trunk? Those are not negative comments about v6 drivers?

Not here to argue but was just surprised and very disappointed I started a legit thread about v6 mpg and get blasted by you for no reason other than I drive a v6.

as to the original topic, I don't think I've ever seen over 24mpg on my LS. but then again, it isn't my DD so when I take it out I'm looking to have a little fun. nice to hear what it can do though.

What would be a common discussion in a Prius forum? Gas mileage.

What would be a common discussion in a Buick forum? Groceries.

I never mentioned V6' s. That's the chip on your shoulder interfering with your ability to comprehend what you are reading, or to take a little kidding.

You obviously can't do either.

When someone scans a CAMARO forum, a thread about gas mileage isn't what you ever expect to see.

If I am already out on the hiway and reset my mpg and stay on fairly level ground mine will get 34 mpg. Averaged out with daily driving I'm getting 24.5 mpg and when it was new I was only getting 21 or 22 mpg.

Funny, on my V8 Guzzler I have seen over 25MPG at speeds of over 65.
