i always look for the "chicklets" when i see a camaro.tells me if it was an early production or not.

I like them on there as well, and yes they can slap them on there but it doesnt change their VIN number to an earlier model

You answered yourself, VIN# will determine the berth of your camaro and not the logo

GM Badge

Why do some new Camaro's have the GM badge on the lower side but some don't.
Had mine for one month now and mine didn't come with it.

they stopped putting them on, not sure what vin #..somewhere in the 4X,XXX if I remember

He is talking about the GM chicklet at the bottom of the fender.

I think they stopped putting those on when GM took bail out money and became "Government Motors" for a while. They also stopped putting the "Perfomance Division" tag in the engine compartment as well.

The GM Chicklet was removed from all GM cars....not just the Camaro.
