no gm emblems ?
first off great forum learned more about my car here than the dealer ever told me ! thanks just picked up our victory red 2ss and luv it cant wait to get that 87 octane out and fill her up with 91 and pull thouse fuses. MY question is i have no gm badges on eather side of the fenders does anyone else not have these? did they run out? my last six are 187416 thanks again

About 7-8 months ago GM decided to take those off from every vehicle so that they could start promoting individual brands instead of the GM name.
My car was made end November and does not have them either. |

If I recall starting in mid October GM stopped adding them to cars and trucks. I picked up my car in October (built Sept).
You can buy them on eBay or your dealership if you want them Sean

it's mostly refered to as the 'GM chicklet', see thread for details. You are #87416, and from what I've seen, I think they stopped putting them on somewhere around early to mid #40k.

I do believe that it was around the 40,000 ish mark that the 'no chicklet' descision was made?

The timeframe for the deletion was based on orders after 31 Aug from what I recollect. My car was built during the first week of Sept. and carries vin # 43526. It was oredered during the first week of July.
