The October 18th Rally in the Valley event has been cancelled, no sponsors and the track requires $2500 pre-payment to open.
Lowest DA chance now will be late October. |

One of the wheels came in today, hopefully the other 3 will get here tomorrow. These things look awesome in person! Very high quality, and light. I was planning on using my factory lug nuts until I saw the lug holes, they're pretty small. So I'll probably have to find some smaller ones.

Loving these wheels! I mounted the fronts and put all my bulbs in, hopefully I can mount the rears tomorrow and be all ready for the track on Friday. The look of the LED's inside the car is awesome. Here is a before and after pic of the wheels and the daytime running lights.

I went with the HP3 but it might be too bright for the inside. I'm not sure yet. The one in the trunk doesn't work very well because the factory bulb points sideways under the decklid and shines down. So the LED ends up pointed sideways under the decklid as well. You get light but it would be a lot brighter if the bulb pointed down since it works kind of like a flashlight where the regular 194 bulb gives off light in all direction. I should have got either the LED board or the strip for the trunk. I might do that and put this one in my blazer or something.

I like the wheels, I can definitely feel the lighter weight. I'm glad I went with the +20 offset in the front instead of the +35, I'm lowered 1.25" and they sit close but no rubbing and no contact while driving.

Not a good night at the track...
Made 3 passes, still only ran a 12.1 and then on the third pass it happened. I didn't even really feel it until I was slowing down and the brake pedal got hard because it died. Motor won't turn over feels like it's seized. AND bad oil leak rear center of oil pan. My cars too low to really see but I'm betting that a rod let go. Just had it towed($268) to the shop and put it inside. I'll get it up and look at it tomorrow and see what really happened.
