How do you close the trunk without touching the paint?

i know for a fact that 35mph closes the trunk
and that 15mph in reverse with a hard brake will close it also.

i used the bowtie then the vinal and now i use the edge of my spoiler
cause i can always repaint the spoiler cheaper then the trunk

even thinking of plastidiping the spoiler just for the looks

I congraduate you for conquering cancer and I can certainly understand why this being a serious question on here would cause you to question our sanity; but you have to understand that our cars bring us joy in our lives and sure, we baby them. If it came down to comparing the seriousness of fingerprints on our paint to cancer? I feel confident no one on here would. So take what we say with a grain of salt, and keep in mind the context of which we are posting.

This is what i'll probably do. I can't figure out how the guy that closes the trunk by grabbing the rubber stoppers is able to do it. The trunk just isn't heavy enough to close with momentum like my bonneville.

I use the bow tie as well. Where I live it is windy and dusty and fingerprints collect dust almost as good as armor all.
