I read that if you want to make 315's fit our SS's you need to widen the rim width to 10.75" and no larger to make 315's fit in the wheel well correctly. Can anyone verify this as truth????
I just might have to buy the "factory replica" 22 inch rims and then have them widened to 10.75" if that is the case! I need a FAT AZZ!!!!

I am expecting a new set of small block V8's by that time. And I'm hoping that 1SS and IBM are both still available.

I personally think that the Z mule we see does have an LSA in it but it will never reach to production stage. For me it makes sense to test all of the Z's components, handling and braking with a more powerful engine...ie LSA. Also, doesn't a higher compression engine better for track car? Doesn't a dry sump LS3 make a better choice when it comes to a track car....ie lower center of gravity, better oil management and less weight? Now if I got any concepts wrong, I'm sorry in advance......I'm willing to learn because I'm new to this car stuff.

It does not make sense to test the handling and braking capabilities of it with the balance of the car skewed because of the supercharged engine. If they were planning on using a NA engine, they'd test with a NA engine.

i have 315/30 22 on the rear of mine on 11'' wheel. and it is very close to inner wheel house but that is in the backspacing. you have to put a lot on the backspacing with a 11 rim if you dont want it sticking out and mine look bigger than whats on the test car. mine have 12'' tread. thats what it tape measures and overall width is more that that. i also have a couple more of those new yokohama.

I scare the S**T out of myself in mine all the time, I hope they are respectful with that power...The price tag should deter most of the darwin award candidates though.
