went to our fav Chinese restaurant tonight it was so funny cause I knew it would happen. They have a huge parking lot and a side lot no one ever parks in. So we go in sit down where we can see the car I mean within 20 minutes we had cars on both sides and in front and I sh!t you not there wasnt anyone else in the restaurant. So there we all are I knew it would happen so I thought it was funny but the wife was pissed! Lol I just told her not to worry if there was a scratch wed know who to grab!

It does the opposite what you dont want attention .
Screw that. Just watch your car if you double park.

Last asshat that parked next to me in an empty parking lot had his valve stems removed.

Vice grips ftw! Always have a pair!

I recently has a little old lady set her yapping little dog on my roof while she unlocked her door. Right while I was putting groceries in the trunk!!!

I am looking for a home for the dog if anybody wants one. Just kidding.

I know how you feel about those "close parkers" but I gave up on stressing about it and just enjoy my car now.

I recently double parked in an empty end of a lot. I came back out, some yahoo had parked right next to me. She was still in her car on her phone, her car and mine all alone on the far end of the lot. Then the guy she was meeting shows up and parks right on the other side of me! Like I wasn't double parked at all! Then she wants to get out while I'm driving away and nearly hits the side of my car. Holy crap stupid people suck!!

Not real sure what to make of it.
That's cute! I know what that little Festiva wants to be when it grows up.

Or the more neighborly way, and leave the core on the rim.... I don't care who you are thats funny right there!

I have freeked out about parking and have not enjoyed some trips terrified of people rubbing my car, I have been driving a new 3/4 ton 4x4 service truck for the last month parking in every horrible situation you can think of, many many times a day. I don't concerne myself with who's near it at all. 5800 miles and not one mark on it yet! I'm convinced if you worry you shift the chances of things happening somehow???

The parking at my bf's place is not great to say the least, but the end spots are about 1.5 the size of a normal spot, so I typically back in and hug the curb to protect myself. . .came out to my car last night and couldn't open my passenger side door, the you couldn't have fit a whole other car on the other side of him since he was so far into my spot!

I try really hard not to be a snob about parking, I know the feeling of annoyance going into a crowded parking lot and seeing nice (sometimes not-so-nice) cars double parked. So I just choose to be very selective about my spots, if not, I'll walk. . .it just kills me when people do this intentional or not, it upsets me :(

I got THE best Walmart parking spot ever the other day! Island on one side...cop on the other. As I got out I mentioned this to the officer and he said he'd watch the car for me while I was inside! First time since I got her that I've been relaxed about parking it!

I did get a ding a couple of weeks ago... on the way to a car show, I stopped to get coffee at the corner store and parked next to a beater Mustang. The driver was in the car when I went in.... I entered the show and the second person to look it over commented on the ding in the passenger side door! I had just detailed the whole car the night before for the show so I know it wasn't there before that... guess you can chaulk that up to envy or just plain meanness!

i usually park The TA way out when at shopping centers and such. and dont normally have a problem with people parking next to me if i dont find a ding... or ill park next to someone else who has a nice car (maro'/vette'/ta/mustang/etc).

at home i try to park my Tahoe on one side of the TA and my wife puts her saturn on the other if she can manage to get the spot. if not i have been keeping an eye out on who is good and respectful when parking next to the car......

also i think it helps all of my neighborhood is scared of me, they have seen me on multiple occasions carrying large (and some small) guns from my vehicle on my long walk to the apt. not to mention the badge is a pretty good deterrant.
