Wondering about the 1/18 IOM 2010 Diecast Camaro SS from ChevyMall. Do you think color is accurate compared to IOM paint on the real car? Is the diecast replica optioned with manual or automatic shifter? Anyone considering adding stripe package to replica to match your life-size SS? How do you plan to do it? Paint? Vinyl? Ideas? Thanks....

I checked my tracking # online tonight, I am supposed to receive my CGM from chevymall tomorrow. But my "real car" has no stripes and I don't have the diecast yet to see if they put a M6 in there.....lol

I was given one for Christmas by the best wife. Black 2SS with silver stripes. Only the car didn't come with the stripes. My wife wanted to make it a duplicate of mine so she called the owner of the dealership where I purchased my car. He had her drop off the diecast and the body shop painted the stripes on to match my car. Luckily he is a family friend but have no doubt he would do it for anyone.

I have a Victory Red one. It is a manual transmission model. I added black Rally stripes to mine using a sheet of vinyl bought at a local hobby/craft store. I just put a large piece on the hood and trunk lid and carefully cut them out by hand.

HELLO GUYS, i WAS WANDERING WHAT IS THE MANUFACTUROR NAME FOR THOSE DIECASTS, I CAN ONLY FIND JADA ONE WHICH A BEMBLEBEE CLONES AND QUALITY IS NOT SO GREAT.

CAN YOU GET THESE ON EBAY?

Ive been looking for a black with red stripes for a while now. The only ones I can find have different wheels. I know its picky, but Id like it to look closely like my car haha.

I ordered the iom, got it thursday the 27th. Opened the box and it was a cgm. double checked the packing slip, it said iom- so I called chevy mall an they told me there was a mix up from the company that makes them. So now I wait!!
