chevy mall is taking orders for the 1:18 inferno orange die cast which will ship late november.exclusive with chevy mall,they say only 3000 will be sold.placed my order yesterday.

I know, I know. Resurected thread here! I could find a better way to ask this than here.

Does anyone know if the projected run of 3000 of these was really it? Is there another version out there with the same manufacturer and packaging but missing the GM authorized stamp or something? I got one of these first ones. My 2 year old son is enamored with my Camaro and wants at this diecast every day. I recently found a lot of 10 for sale and am thinking there has to be a difference? With all of the IOM owners out there does it seem logical that a vendor could still have a lot of 10 of these?

someone ought to slap that ebay seller for asking $320 for a diecast that sold at walmart for $25. I bet you could get a really upscale quality one for that.

Should be eight or so left. The box in the pic looks identical to the one I ordered from Chevy when this thread was out. We'll see if the new one I bought here last night has the GM seal when it shows up.

Good deal if these are authorized, since the run was supposed to be limited to 3000. I figured they were long gone.

I got my son's IOM diecast from the link above today. Packaging was awesome and the car is the GM authorized one. Super deal if anyone is still looking. He had 10 of them.

Get a graphic shop to put on stripes. Here are picture of my 1:18 VR SS with silver stripes put on by the guy that put them on my seal SS.
