need info on bowties and taillights....

i am looking to black out the tails a little, maybe with a tint, and black out the bowties on my CGM. wondering if anybody has pics of their CGM with blacked out tails and bowties...

also, if anybody knows a good place to get the tints for the tails and the bowties, please let me know. thanks!!

also, how hard is it to remove the rear bowtie? thanks in advance!!

I don't really have any info for tinting the taillights, but for blacking out the bowties, I bought a roll of black vinyl for $10 and an exacto knife from Michael's today and it worked great. It was kind of a pain to get the vinyl on the front one without any bubbles or creases but if you go slow and smooth it out a tiny bit at a time it's not too bad. For pics, see the post i just made: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140689

it's not CGM but you can see how the bowties turned out. I did it pretty much exactly the same as many other people on here and it worked great

oh also if you're just blacking out the bowties it's not necessary to remove them. I did it while they were still on the car no problem

You can buy the bowtie blackouts for cheap from bigworm graphics. Pre cut and very cheap in lots of different colors. The front bowtie is the hardest to put vinyl on but just takes patience and a little heat to help it stretch to wrap on ok. Rear is simple. I have bigworm blackouts in my photos.

http://www.chauffeperformance.com/products/bowtie.html
