was wondering what size torque wrench i need? i dont have one, do i really need one?

3/8 drive torque wrench will work just fine... I cant remember the torque specs of the header bolts, but I know I used mine. Sorry, Its been over a year ago. LOL

so 3/8ths ill look for now i gotta find the specs for the bolts cuz the only i have at work starts at 20

directions that came with the borla long tubes had torque specs inside if yours dont just give them a call and they will give you the exacts

I installed Kooks and I remember it said 18ft. lbs. It doesn't sound like much, but the heads are aluminum.

How hard is it to put headers on the SS? I've put headers on cars you practically had to pull the engine out to get them on. Just so I know what I'm in for in the future.

I have installed three sets of headers on my car and a couple of friends Camaros. Installing headers on the new Camaro is as easy as it can be. The last set I did was a set of the new TSP headers with cats and it was 2 1/2 hours from start to finish. I do not have a lift. There is no need to lift the engine at all there is plenty of room to get the old stuff out and the new headers in. Mine went in very easily. It has Been said on the forum that the v8 is much easier than the v6
