New kid on the block
Hi guys,
I just joined Camaro5 yesterday and as with any community figured it would be proper to introduce myself when joining! I've been reading threads on Camaro5 since the anxious days of waiting for the 5th gen to begin production and for tips before I bought a 5th gen Camaro of my own. Everyone here is very respectful, humorous, and helpful and after all this time I figured I should get in on the action and make an account! I bought my 2011 Camaro 1LS new on October 13th 2010 at a local Chevy dealer. I traded in my 1994 Corvette Greenwood with an LT1 (it was a rocket ship) but I found myself fixing it every weekend instead of driving it due to a previous abusive owner and the auto trans was unforgivably boring. Although the dealer payed me crap for the Vette the Camaro was the exact color combo/options I was looking for and I couldn't wait another day to have it! I put the Camaro away in December for winter and brought her back out this spring along with some cosmetic mods and a CAI.     My Camaro as of now has 3200 miles on it (I only take it to the gym every day, rides along the coast, and to any cruise night/car show around). Down the road I'm going to upgrade the axle-back mufflers and do some more cosmetic work, but she's fine for now! Thanks TJ! I've had a big post it note on top of my computer for weeks now that says "Make more Camaro videos" but I never find the motivation...believe it or not I don't really like making the videos myself! It always feels weird recording and doing the action at the same time...if I had a camera crew I'd be making videos every 10 minutes!

B1G-AL, CONGRATS and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Hahahahahaha thanks for the warm welcome Sir Nuke, I feel at home already! My Camaro saw four eager passengers tonight and now it looks like I'll be doing a full interior detailing tomorrow!
