This is my favorite thread of the day.
I don't want to ruin the upbeat note of this thread, so I'll put this in white. Chevy will produce as many ZL1s as it takes to meet market demand. There is no set number, because they aren't "limited production".

Best guess I would say like 5,000 but Thier are way to
many variables involved and we can only speculate what
the final outcome maybe after a full year of production.
Now that Thier making an automatic that could change
things, but they can only make so making cars at the
plant which I believe is already working at like full
capacity.

Seriously though, I haven't heard anything from GM about setting an artificial limit on the ZL1. There will always be supplier & other production related constraints on any car. If I had to guess, I'd say that ZL1's will account for around 5% of Camaro sales, maybe as high as 10%.

I stand corrected.

As many as they have orders for.......

Haven't heard the words "limited production" uttered anywhere in my readings. Now,there may be some constraints at first, but not limited production.

I almost dread to see how bad dealerships try to cornhole the consumer when they are first available.

This is yet another example of a dealership salesman spreading misinformation and likely knowing less about Camaros than the typical Camaro enthusiast does.

Every official statement by corporate Chevrolet employees regarding the availability and production of the ZL1 has indicated that the ZL1 will not be a limited production model. Chevrolet has stated that they will attempt to meet market demand for the ZL1. In other words, Chevrolet will attempt to build as many ZL1s as there are buyers for them.
