Are you running without an engine cover? (V8)
I just took this off my engine, It is the rear bracket that the engine cover clips on to. One 10 mm bolt on the drivers side and the passenger has two clips that fit over the fuel rail . Looks a little better and another few ounces of weight loss.

No Engine Cover, No Bracket, and I also took the "Clamshell" off the intake too!!! I'm not sure if that is what it's supposed to be called, but if you look closely, there is a thin insulated cover on top of the intake too. I think it is supposed to be there for noise suppression from the valve train. But I took it off, and I do not notice any additional noise at all. You have to remove the fuel rail to get it off. I'll try to get pics later today if I remember...

I took my "clamshell" (good term for it) off too. It's probably for noise suppression and to keep heat off the intake IF you run the bulky cover. Since that is long gone, I took off the clamshell and bracket too. |

I love your Black Label Fuel Rails.....looks awesome!!! Where is your incoming fuel line connected to, I don't see it? I would like to do this, but concerned with what the dealership would say about the rest of my powertrain warranty!!

Did you use the heater hose relocation kit?
Personally, I hate the stock cover..but I haven't taken the bracket off yet. I do, however, like the roto fab separate slabs that go on each side of the rail. I just need to find a way to relocate that damn hose before I purchase them and cant fit the bia on... those black rails are bad ass though... Also, how easy was it to install those red and black housing covers? I think I saw them also on roto's site to cover fuse box and fluid containers.

Yep, I bought the heater hose relocation kit from TechAFX. Perfect time to remove the clamshell since you gotta remove the fuel rail anyway. I still can't figure out exactly why the instructions for the kit tell you to completely remove the intake manifold, and then once removed, you take the fuel rail off and spin it 180 deg., and then put the manifold back on! I did it as they recommended, but seems to me you should be able to remove the fuel rail without completely removing the intake. Sorry, I'm just thinkin' out loud.

They are made (or sold by) Mast Motorsports. I think these are the "nylon" rails I believe. They sure look sharp. Here's a link:
