Ran into an SS today on the way home… - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

He was in front of me at a turn light; I was like “cool”. But as soon as he seen me stop behind him he started to rev his engine, ok! We both turned, me into the left lane, him in the right. I pulled up along side him to wave and say nice car, he ignored me, ok. I eventually passed him going 35 (speed limit was 40), as soon as I did, he gunned it and shot right in my path and was quickly gone. What an ass!! I so wanted to step on it (even knowing he’d blow me away) but asses like this so piss me off.

I know there are going to be ass drivers, but it just pisses me off when it's another Camaro (regardless of model). We have such a small group, we should stick together!!

And don't get me wrong, this is not a rant about SS owners, just ass Camaro owners. This one just happened to be an SS!!

There are stupid folks everywhere.

If he were to run into and hurt anyone in my family.... I'd be forced to cull the herd.

I had a situation happen yesterday when I went to get dinner at Taco Time. As I was pulling into the drive-thru, a Red LT came the other way and got into line ahead of me. She didn't cut me off or anything, she just arrived a few seconds before me.

I spoke loudly out the window "Nice Car!!!", and heard her respond "Yours is nicer".

You know, I've read about this 'problem', BUT people in the opposite situation do the same.

I have an SS and when I come across a 'V6', I wave to say 'hi' and I get ignored by them (drivers). :(

The other day, and older (4th Gen) camaro was following me and I let him catch up to me. As soon as he got next to me, on my right (Driver's side) I waved to say 'hi'. He just gave me short stare and took off.

But, I still try to way to all the ones I see.

I wave at every Camaro I see in my area. I'm about 50-50 on wave backs. So if you're in Rapid City and you get a wave from a guy in an IOM SS, that would be me!

Edit: (If it has retro SS badges that is, there's 1 or 2 other IOM SSes out here.)
