Good Photo-Ops in WA?

I recently got my SS and I'm jealous of all the member car journals where people have awesome back-drops for their car in hi-rez. Does anyone know any cool photo-ops in Western WA where I can snap some snazzy pictures? Something to set off the aggressive look of the car, kinda like those old paintings you'd see of a Corvette or other old muscle car parked near a brick wall painted with a Coke mural or something? Like this, only more bad-@$$

There's stuff like that around, especially in some of the smaller towns.

Personally, I'm more about getting good nature & mountain/river/ocean shots of which there are tons here in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia.

So, here are some pictures, and the locations they were taken in.

Ruby Beach on the most northern part of 101 on the coast.

About 5 or so miles south of Ruby Beach on the coast.

Winthrop looks like this, so there are a lot of good backdrops there...

Here's some other pictures taken just south of Republic.

And of course, Grand Coulee Dam

And, one of my favorites...from near Dry Falls.

All you gotta do is get in that car and drive, my friend. Photo ops everywhere in WA. See that big ol' hill west of you (if it's not too smoggy), there's tons of cool places for pictures out there.
That big ol' salty pond to your west? Drive up and down that thing til you find a nice pretty place to park!
Lots of parks have great landscaping, good backdrops there too. I just go for a drive and when I like the scenery, I park and take pictures!

Are you new to Seattle? There's 10xGazillion places for good photo-op. You don't have to drive far.

There's some really good fall color right now. A favorite place of mine is Lake Sammamish State Park. There are two entrances...I usually go to the one where the boat ramp is. Especially during the weekday--not many people there, so you get the vast expanses of lawn, and pristine backdrops all to yourself. You can either do treed/nature scenes, or you can spin around and catch the car looking out towards the lake.

Example of a pic I did with my old '97 Camaro (like waaaay back in the day. I think I took this photo in 2003).

I dont think the lighting is always optimal in the woods. Thinking about it I am using a droid for my pictures ... never mind.

Can you see the camaro?

Nice photos, guys! No, I'm not new to the area--in fact, I grew up in Edmonds... but I can't seem to find the kind of backdrop I'm looking for. I went to Lake Sammammish with my old 94Z, which, other than the salad shooters I had, looked almost identical to your 97, bad. I had the black halo, though. Loved that car

I will keep looking. If any of you get divine inspiration, let me know

Try Anacortes...Small town, lots of painted walls...maybe some like what you're looking for...

I agree with Dennis - we have such beautiful natural scenery in the NW, why mess with a city shot? I just drove into my back yard.....

I took a few pics of my SS when I took my wife up to Forks. I was thinking on a sunny day it would have been a lot nicer, but the sun don't seem to shine in WA much? Plus since it's always raining it's hard to keep the car clean.
