Question to the 2014 1LE HUD owners...

Have you tried the lateral G meter? It can be accelerating fun (safe) fun...

So far I have been to .85 in a corner. I did not know that it also has the green to red arrows. I guess that indicates shift points or top of the RPM. I wonder if our color HUD is similar to or same as the ZL-1.

Lateral G meter is the only DIC option I use for driving. I've gotten it to .5, but I'm just outside the breakin period. I can only assume the arrows for rpms/shifting are for maximum traction.

The arrows at the top of the display are shift lights.

I pegged my g meter at 1.01 the first night I had her. Umm not necessarily on purpose but...

Yes Ozzy and the shift arrows go green then red... Although I only see the arrows in 1st as I shift before I need to.

So it pegs out at 1.0.....

Wondering if the ZL1 has same HUD...

Time to read user manual.

I am already at 1700 miles.... and I bought the car on Nov 5th ...

I use the lat G on my HUD and use my D I C for radiator temp... Reason for that is I am curious about engine temp with the new hood. For some reason the faster I go the better it cools..

No it goes higher than 1.0. That's just where I've hi in mine. Once... Believe it's the same as the ZL1's.

Went and test drove a 14. Told the dealer I was looking for a new track car. He challenged me to take him for a ride. Hit .95 on the freeway on ramp.

Its lateral G meter so that turn on must be allot of fun.
