TIRE SEALANT & INFLATOR KIT IN PLACE OF SPARE TIRE

I ordered the spare tire for $150. Will I still get the infaltion kit since I had to pay for the spare tire and the inflation kit was included in base price it would seem that I should have both. Does anyone now if we still get the inflation kit if we order a spare tire and pay extra for it?

i paid for the spare, and you only get the spare. Doesn't seem to be a refundable portion since you are not getting the inflaiter. either.

Wow that sure seems a rip off. Since I bought it as a backuup for long trips, not to carry around town daily.... Crap!

Communicate with your dealer what you want. They should be able to take care of you

I did as well, I but I thought you you get just one or the other, not both, but I could be mistaken. Its happened before, or so my wife tells me, but I don't think so! lol

So will my 2LT, with the spare tire option, have the spare in a well out of site with a jack then since I don't get the inflation device.

Welcome... The spare covers the trunk mount battery, inset under the trunk mat.

2011 2LT Tire Inflation System

I just purchased a 2011 2LT RS and was amazed when I looked in the trunk and found a spare. The spare option isn't listed anywhere on the invoice. Have they changed the default?
The 2SS I test drove had the inflation system, so I (I know I know) believed the sales person when told I would get it in the 2LT as well.

The $150 is the extra cost to get the spare (the cost of the spare minus the cost of the inflator). The spare kit itself is probably worth about $250.

The spare option is a pretty good deal for $150...

on top of getting the spare, you also get the jack and the tools....you don't get those with the inflator kit. SO, if you only got tehinflator kit, and want a spare for trips and teh like....don't for get to get a jack and tire iron!

The spare comes with the jack, lug wrench, and a strap. I have no idea what the strap is for...
