How's the stock V6 Exhaust sound?

I havent been able to get a good sound clip on the stock V6 exhaust. is it "throaty" or does it just sound like a regular V6

it sounds good accellerating its pretty much silent at low speeds thats how I like it a loud exhaust gets very annoying once the thrill wears off and the drone starts to kill your braincells I'm 46 and loud exhausts don't do anything for me anymore. I'd rather put the money into unique looks and technology,

Subjective!!! some people just like to hear RPM's.

Depends on how riced out the car is (and I mean how crappy it looks and sounds, not if its foreign), but around here that is usually a yes Seems like the people that have cars that DO sound nice when revved never rev them when I am around

yah maybe I do , I'm imperfect but thats what goes through my head. just being honest, I don't mean to attack anyone personally Just the first thing that pops into my head , my comments were probably a little out of place, my avatar may have bitten a little hard last night

I think I'm eternally scared by this guy who drives a mustang down my street where I work at 2 am like 3 times the speed limit with a super loud exhaust every night ,

The V6 has a sound that reminds me of the 4th gens. It makes a beautiful "WHOOM" sound right when it starts up (which puts a big smile on your face), it sounds throaty and mean under acceleration (more smiles), then calms down and becomes mostly unobtrusive at speed.

I guess I like to hear the exhaust only when I want to hear it. When it's "too loud" (subjective as someone said), it can really wear on you during long trips. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing.

There are vids posted. I posted a few of Number 3 accelerating from inside the car so search on posts by me.

One of the very first posts was by Maxpower when we took Number 3 to California back in late December.

Those should give you an idea about the stock exhaust.
