A LT front bumper on a SS?......
For a while now I've had this crack and scratches in my front bumper from a semi tire blew out and smashed into me while doing 80 on highway.Anyway it will cost $800 to replace. I been thinking of getting a LT bumper because it reminds me of the concept car, which I first feel in love with,to put on instead of the SS bumper.I need some thoughts on what I should do.

So what are you asking? If you should put the LT bumper on your car? IIRC the LT bumper doesn't have the 'mail-slot' which is also in the photos you posted.

I wish the SS didn't have the slot to begin with.. The SLP filler piece helps, but the seams around the filler stick out like a sore thumb..

I prefer the looks of the LS/LT bumper over the SS bumper cover.

What I'm saying is Pic.1 looks alot like Pic.2 VS. Pic.3 I kinda want the concept look more than the SS look.

Granted, the front end without the "mail slot" looks better than the SS front end with the slot...
But I don't think I could handle having people around town "in the know" think that I didn't have the 'stones to buy a v8... Hahahaha!! Sam |

yeah I used to prefer the square jutting chin of the SS to the LT but I've grown to actually like the sleeker look of the LT. I also am not a fan of the gaping hole above the grille. I would think that there would be a way to fit the LT bumper on the SS. other its almost identical in every other way. I mean, is the slot really necessary anyway?

I say go with the LT bumper and a revolution hood. You'll look like Bumblebee in ROTF.

The slot doesn't function, so there is no use for it.
