Payment Poll, kinda, please help
Heres the deal, my wife told me that if I quit smoking I could get an SS in six months (and yes I have to remain smoke free or she sells it lol) and I was trying to do some research on the payment. My dealership told me like 600/month on just a base 1SS. My buddy bought an SS/RS loaded 38k for 600/month with employee discount which I have by the way. But I have also seen in from google-ing at $13.89 per $1000 financed which puts a loaded out SS/RS at 38k only $527 per month. Please help, lol, I can't sleep this is killing me. Thank you in advance, I'm in Michigan by the way

A general rule of thumb on a 60 month loan is $20 for every $1,000 financed. This will get you in the ballpark.
If you finance $30,000 over five years, payment would be roughly $600 per month. Your example of $527 per month on $38K financed would be 0% for 72 months. There are currently no 0% financing offers available on Camaro. Hope this helps. Last edited by AnnaBear@SpartaChevy; 01-23-2010 at 08:36 AM. Reason: added info |

32k judging from the amount listed on the pricing sheet that was posted at the top of this part of the forums. I added up all of my options with employee pricing thats around what it should be. Thanks lil robber and backinblack for responding, I appreciate it. |

Save the money from not smoking. That will add up to a lot in 6 months. By the way, congratulations on the quitting. It will be very hard, but so worth it (and I don't mean just the Camaro). Both of my parents smoked. Both died young of cancer. It was awful for them and the family. You are saving your family a lot of heart ache by quitting. You are a good man. (Trying to be a cheer leader here).
Oh, and the Camaro. Save a bit for a down payment. It makes the rest of it a lot easier. I am off to the dealer this minute to go buy mine after waiting 3 months for it. Ya me and ya you! |
