2lt or 1lt w/rs

So i decided on getting a 2010 Camaro. Preferably a V6 cause it would be my daily drive and I don't really need the V8 but my dilemma is on which model to get. I have been going back and forth on either the 1lt with rs or just the 2lt. So I'm just asking what would you guys do? And does the speed limiter differ from the 1lt rs and the 2lt?

easily the 1 lt/rs - you will really regret not getting the RS package

I initially went without it it...as i looked at RS camaros, it was a no brainer

I would have to say 1LT with RS as well, although I love all of the extras with the 2LT.

But the appearance from the outside looks so much sweeter with the RS in my opinion.

2lt with RS is what you should aim for...

I dislike leather, and the gauges were not interesting to me, so i was super pleased ordering the 1lt/rs - should be here soon

Although i would love to have the ambient lighting......

I'm trying to stay under the 30k limit and with tax and warranty 2lt rs is a little expensive for me. Being a college student and everything, I'm gonna need to choose 1lt rs or 2lt

I'd say if your are even considering the 2LT, for another $1200 you can get the RS to go with it. When I was way younger a wise old man told me, it only cost a little more to go first class ... And you will be much more happy for it.

I went with 1LT RS. Only thing I would like to have is the Home Remote and ambient lighting that comes with the 2LT. Now I have to keep the garage door opener in the car, but thats no big deal. I am goin to get the lighting done at some point in the future.

The car cost me just under $29k after taxes and tags.

I ordered the 2LT and added the rear spoiler. The halo's and painted ditch moldings didn't matter much to me.
I see your in Philly, if you plan on using it as a daily driver you will love the heated leather seats in the 2LT, and you get all season tires (19")
If you order th RS package , you get 20" warm climate tires and may have to change over in the winter.
I may be biased, but I say 2LT
Whatever you choose, Good Luck and welcome to the club

I have 1LT + RS. I wanted cloth interior here in the desert and love the RS look. My fleet sales guy, all way up to the general sales manager, complimented me on how I ordered my car -- they loved the look, figured they could sell a number of them configured my way because of the look and the value so they are ordering a few for their lot. I did add the CC package, so I have some of the 2LT interior goodies as well.

If you cannot go for the 2LT/RS go for the 1LT/RS and the RS package IMHO is a must.

Good luck
Sean

Youngin, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. And what I would do, is save up a few more funds and get the 2LT/RS...in my book its a no-brainer. BTW, There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
