Help: Diff between 1LT and 2LT RS Packages?

I've scoured over the Wiki, and apparently haven't been looking hard enough because I haven't been able to find a list that differentiates between what is offered on the 1LT and 2LT RS packages.

IMO, I may go for the 1LT/RS package just because of the Halos added to the car. I really didn't want all of the goodies on the 2LT because it just clutters the car. My only regret is that the 1LT doesn't come with the 4pack gauges. So to get back on track, does anyone have any information/can direct me to information as to what is and is not equipped on a 1LT/RS?

Check out the official spec sheet for trim differences. There are a lot more features of the 2LT and 2SS than the 1SS and other subordinate trims. Two of the biggest differences is the audio system and the 4-pack of gauges.

I knew about what each package offered (hence why I'm going to the 1LT); I was asking about what was added respectively to the 1 and 2LT RS packages. Are there some RS add ons that are not available to the 1LT(as I already suspect)? If so, I'd like to know to keep that in mind when ordering. I'm asking because this was what I couldn't find this information on the ordering sheet.

Awesome. Thanks headpunter. Makes me sad that I'll be missing the 4packs, but I never really was a leather person to begin with, so it's all good.

fog lamps

recently purchased the 1LT with RS package and supposed to come with fog lamps. The lights are in the place where it needs to be. According to the owners manual, the fog lamps should have a button located on the exterior light control but there is not one there and I can't control my fog lamps. Just wanted to make sure I am supposed to have that button with my car before I go down to the dealership... anyone know?

Go sit in both it will become crystal clear why a 2LT RS is a very popular option for people. Its a steal for what u get imo.

Lance-- In RS cars, the "fog lamps" are changed to "daytime running lamps". So when you get the RS, you essentially lose the fog lamps (control over them, anyway). Your car is not broken or missing something. I guess they had to do this because the HID headlights were not suitable as DRLs.

Even though the RS package content seems to be the same for 1LT & 2LT, there appears to be a $300 price difference between the two according to the "build your own page" on the Chevrolet website.

1LT RS cost: $1750
2LT RS cost: $1450
1SS/2SS RS cost: $1200

I fully understand why the RS option cost on the 1SS/2SS is less,.
I don't really know why there is a cost difference between the 1LT & 2LT.
Maybe the reason is because the 1LT wheels/tires jump from the standard 18" up to 20" for the RS, while the 2LT only jumps from 19" to 20"?

Does anybody know the real answer?
