Modifications general question
I have a general question, please assume that I know little of electrical wiring and nothing of the electrical wiring of a car. If I went through my car and added various lighting or had someone add lighting etc, can this be done without touching GM's original wiring? Or even easier question could the mods be undone without leaving a "foot print" that anything was ever done?
Thank you.

Sure, just run longer wires directly to the battery or terminal leads. There's a nice + post that goes into the fuse box.
