Question on Tuning
What's up guys. Quick question for you knowledgeable folks. I'm looking into decatting my Camaro and with that I know without a tune it'll throw a CEL at me. I had originally planned on having my local shop dyno tune my car directly after installing catless downpipes however i've been looking more and more into Overkill tuning. My question is if I choose Overkill will that tune clear any CEL's that i'd get from taking off my cats? Thanks !
Side note - I've heard mixed reviews as far as if the Overkill tune removes the speed governor, does it? |

I was checking them out as well, they seem to have a really good rep for doing these Camaro's

Sometimes with a dyno tune they tune just to get maximum power which, at times, isn’t the best for daily drivability. With the Overkill tune you get maximum driviablity and also unlimited free retunes for life if you ever got new mods. To answer your question though, every tune I have come across can remove your CEL and governor. So yes, the Overkill tune will do what you’re asking.

I'm also Overkill tuned and catless, and I had Will @ Overkill disable the CELs for me, no issue whatsoever.
