We do it for our taller road course clients. There is fabrication required, but yes it can be done. Out tallest to date is 6' 7" and he fits with a helmet.

You think that's crazy, this winter I'm cutting the floor pan out of my Miata and welding in a lowered pan and mounting the seats straight on the floor so my helmet is low enough for track days.
