I paid 75000 for my ss with the lsa tranplant and a heap of mods. So mine was probably one of the better deals too. Seeing a camaro here is a rare sight
I'm hearing you Wallis, I paid $42000 USD for my 2012 2SS/RS (brand new) and by the time I imported it and converted it it owed me $95000AUD, I've since spent about $40k on modifications.
Like you said they are rare in Australia and I don't intend selling it I'll gift it to my son when I die.

Just bought a 2012 rs/ss 45th auto today, with 26k miles I think I paid full retail, but its a nice car and I wanted it,which is all the difference It was 24,000 I had ordered a new 2012 M6 and traded it in 2014,always did like the look of the 5th gen,and although I know they have came along way,I still love the taillights..lol I sure didn't steal it,but it don't look beat on

What he said. SOMEtimes you just go for it. If you always feel the need to wait for a "deal", you end up missing what you really wanted in the first place. I wasn't even looking for a Camaro when I saw this one.

"Convenience Tax"....now there's a new one for the vocabulary.

That said, a month ago I picked up a one owner 2011 L99 2SS/RS RJT with a whopping 12k on the clock for $23000 from a dealer. Cammed, K&N CAI, long tube hdrs, cat delete 3" Flowmasters, and a nice array of autometer gauges (A/F, EGT, Vac/Boost, Fuel psi, etc.) Not sure what else has been done, stall? gears?...??? I'll contact the previous owner once I get fully acquainted with the car. I opened this thread breaking my self imposed rule of "quit looking once you buy, lest ye be disappointed". Yeah, probably paid full retail but hey, I like it, has lotsa goodies already done( hence said convenience tax)...and it matches my truck. Anybody recognize this car? Came from Maryland.
