You would have been the LAST I expected to do this as much as you've
done to your car....Did you get this car only to race?

Actually I didn't ... but after the experience, I just don't seem to be enjoying the car as much any more.

Gotcha.. I can understand wanting to move up to a GT500 with the solid rear if drag racing is what you want to do. Better yet, to avoid wheel hop get yourself an AWD vehicle and have an advantage at the track. Whatever you choose, don't give up on being a member here. There's always fun in a little rivalry.

Curious why you ruled out a Vette when the handling is so good and power to back it up.

I need a back seat right now ...

I'm just entertaining the thought .. we will see how it turns out .. maybe it is just frustration on my part ..

Have you researched ways to eliminate the wheel hop? I was curious to see if that was going to be an issue when I heard that the 2010 was going to have an IRS. You could even look into converting to a live axle...I've got a buddy with a '99 Cobra who eventually did that.

Damn, I've done plenty of burn outs and no wheel hop here.

Wonder why that's so.

On the street everything seem fine and it just basically burns out. At the track is was wheelhop all through first and second. In my 12.3 video, you can here it in my exhaust through 2nd.

I know I will be spending most of my time on the road and not at the track, but it has put a dampiner on my excitement when I get in the car now ...
