Preston Hood Chev in FOrt Walton beach is charging $550 to paint them on. Seen the work, looks awsome. I put my own vynal on for $150 to decide color. Ice blue met on Silver Ice...looks awsome IMOP. I did mine in about an hour and half and have no wrinkles/bubbles. Look painted until you touch the edges. Make sure the dealers are preping the area, nice clean and lint free then install using wet method in a smaller area not the open service bay thats dirty.

Ironically, before reading this thread, I noticed a horizontal bubbling on my rear spoiler yesterday. I also found a couple of cuts in the stripe on the front, that must have happened during installation, and only now they became noticeable, possibly lifting on their own. It's only a matter of time, that any mistakes in installation would start to surface.

I've had my car for 3 months, and the dealer contracted out the installation, because the guys at the dealer were afraid of srewing up the stripes. So much for contracting out to professionals. I will be taking the car back to the dealer.

I'm thinking about painting mine on also, but do not have a clue as to how much I should pay the dealer.
Your input will be appreciated.
Thanks...
