RAIL TRACKING QUESTION - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

We put our vin in the rail tracking page, but don't really understand how it works. How and when will the window sticker show up. I notice some people that posted their vins the same day have a window sticker already. Is there something we should be doing, or is this the next step in the waiting game? How long does it usually take?

The window sticker thing seems to be really variable as to when it shows up. I've heard that as a general rule the window sticker shows up around the same time that the car is invoiced/shipped. However, some people see theirs earlier, and others don't.

I personally didn't care as long as I KNEW my car was on the way. The window sticker didn't show up on the tracking page till my car was about half way to me.

This is good to know..I've been wondering myself. My car is on the train, but no window sticker. Guess it's just "one of those things".

Mine didn't appear until it was ready for shipment.

And we will help you track it. Right now it is uncertain if you are coming by Rail or Truck. Maybe this mornings update will give you more info. My VIN did not show up until days later after it was already shipped.
