Test drive the Z/28 and it WILL talk to you, I suspect. As others have said mount some road tires to better the ride and get rid of the tram lining.

I'll attest to the rest, JUST BUY IT! Never had a car that I just wanted to drive and drive.

I had to go a lot further than you to get mine bought! Hopefully it will be on a trailer heading to Iowa from Dallas this week.

Mine already has Super Sports on it (which are also stock on my '16 GT350 track Pack). One thing I cant figure out is why so many of these low mile cars (mine has 3600) already have non-stock tires on them.

I made the mistake of trying to turn my '11 Mustang GT into a Boss with aftermarket suspension, tune, brakes, etc. In the end I ended up trading it on a '13 Boss and couldn't be happier. If you just want a street/track car...dump money into your current ride. If you want something that will do that, and will be special forever...get the Z/28! just my opinion, of course.

Pretty simple. Trofeos are track tires and on the street they're harsh and make the car track in the ruts. A simple swap to a Bridgestone RE11 makes the car drive like any other Camaro. Almost. Mine came off at 150miles.

I purchased my z/28 without a test drive.
It had about 16 miles on it, and had been on the showroom floor for several months.
It was the first z/28 that I had seen in person.
All I did was smile the whole time I was around the car.
Not quite sure whats the best way to describe the car, but the sum of the parts used on this car make it a very special automobile.

I have no regrets on my purchase.

Agree!!

I was on the Fence wanting get out of my "GERMAN Musclecar" and into Merican Muscle.

One drive and I sold my 94 Porsche 928 GTS (which was a pretty baddass car) also told my buddy I would NOT be buying his (also baddass) 2010 ZR1.

I got bit with one test drive and NEVER looked back!

You already know what you're going to do, go do it!!

Just do it! I have two sets of wheels, one set with R compound track tires and one set with Bridgestone RE-11s for comfort. I have 15,000 miles, and DD it on crappy New England streets with no problems. If you're not going to track it, ditch the Trofeos and put on the Bridgestones or Pilot Supersports. The ride is much smoother and very tolerable. You will love this car!

Is this the black one at Friendly Chevy in Blaine Minn.?

If so note from the VIN that the car is a CTF car - not a production car -
2G1FS1EE8E9699012

If not familiar with CTF - that stands for Captured Test Fleet - they produced 69 in 2014 and 5 in 2015 - these were cars that were used for auto shows, driven by magazines and/or driven by GM employees.

That particular car has 21k miles on it and in their info. stated the owner who traded it in put 3k miles on it, so 18k at GM would indicate an employee driven car.

Nothing wrong with a CTF car - but just wanted to be sure you knew that it was one, if that is the car you are looking at.

Way you can tell a CTF car from a production car - CTF VINS are 69xxxx and production car VIN's are 70xxxx

Find right car for you and buy it - you will not regret owning a Z/28.

Did you but that white one from Earth, with the 21st Century 700hp package? If so....!@#$

Oh yeah, ummm, hi everyone. I guess this is my first post, hmmm...obviously i'm looking for a Z/28 to daily, i have daily driven worse in the past so i'm not worried about the harsh ride, just excited about that LS7, TR606, carbon brakes and back seats that i promised my wife the two car seats will fit in but honestly have no idea and don't care.
