Cool New to me, 2015 1LE

Just scored a 2015 1LE.

My first 5th generation Camaro.

I had wanted a 5th gen for some time. Test drove several 2012’s, 2013’s. 1SS and 2SS models. Even a few ZL1’s.

I was initially drawn to the ZL1, due to it being supercharged. One of the ZL1’s I test drove was in pretty rough shape. Minor body damage, high mileage, and smelt like an ashtray. Cigarette burns all over the drivers side pillar, and stains all over the seats.

The 1SS, I didn’t care much for. The cloth seats didn’t look very ‘premium’, and I wanted a ‘Head Up Display’. In fact, most of the feature I wanted were on the 2SS models.

I did see a 2SS that piqued my interest, but I already knew that if I had bought it, I’d be settling. My gut instinct told me I could do better. There were a few things on this 2SS in particular that I didn’t care for, so I ultimately passed on it.

Spotted a 1LE. I knew right away what it was. It was also white. Summit White.
Love at first sight. I had to have it.

2015, Summit White 1LE with 13,xxx miles. Certified Pre Owned.

Congrats and welcome. I 3rd the color choice. Another option if you have NPP is to install the Forza 3 way controller. That way you have normal, quiet or mode. You can program it to your garage door buttons.

Congrats! I am not of a fan of white cars but for some reason it just seems to work on the 1LE's. Enjoy!

i can also vouch for the Forza 3-way controller, as i have that model on my SS as well. super helpful especially once you install long tube headers and need a little bit quieter of a ride on the fly.

Just full the fuse if you have NPP, you'll never put it back in after driving around like that.

Thanks for the replies, and suggestions. I believe that the fuse may have already been pulled, but I’m not 100% sure. I have looked at the exhaust with the car turned off, and the exhaust valves were still open. Does that mean the fuse has been pulled?

Also, it seems that the previous owner already installed a skip shift eliminator as well.

As for the ‘Angel eye’ rings, those are also on, even during the daytime. Is that normal?

Congrats and Welcome.

Simplified NPP: Flaps are open at idle. closed at cruising. open at full throttle. So, flaps would be open whether fuse pulled or not. There is a DIY with lots of pics on the forum for pulling the fuse.

Halos...."the rings".....are your DRL's.
