I was thinking of getting a set of KOOKS headers coated for my ZL1 but now not so much , I have herd that no silver coating will hold up under the heat .
Has anyone actually put coted herder on there Zl1 and they held up over

I had shiny silver on my Kooks, the aluminum that makes it shine melts around 1300 and will bubble and separate from the coating, the coating still works and does its job but it loses its shine, and it gets some of those bumps.

When I went to the 2in Kooks, I coated them more of a matte silver, no issues at all and on more boost, Look brand new, supposed to hold up to 2000.

Off topic, but which low-rise lift brand/model do you have? I've been debating between that style of lift or the new GrandPrix series 2-post for low ceilings from Bendpak. I only have about 55" of available lift due to my ceiling height, but it would be worth it to me to be able to roll around on a chair. I'm getting too old for sliding around on my back these days.

This is the only one that I found that had decent height, and enough center spacing to remove my trans.
